The Teacher

Tony has been teaching dance in the greater Philadelphia area, since the age of 18. He has taught all styles of hip-hop including: popping, locking, house, bboying ("breaking"), krump, social dances and more. He has experience teaching students of all ages & skill levels. Whether a young beginner, or a growing professional, Tony hopes to instill an understanding of the movement into each of his students, so they may go on to discover themselves as their own dancer; not to be a carbon copy of Tony. Tony is a proud member of the Bronx Boys Rocking Crew, an organization that focuses on hip-hop education & cultural preservation.

The Performer

Tony has been involved in the performing arts since 5th grade. Tony actually began his journey with the Fort Bend Boys Choir of Texas, along with performing on stage in musicals & theatre productions. His interest in dance blossomed shortly after, and his desire to learn took him any place that would allow him to grow as a street dancer. Studying Media Production at Temple University put Tony in front & behind the lens, allowing him to further develop his performance abilities. Tony has various performance credits that include film, TV and live stage performance.

The Director

Tony is the Studio Director of Freestyle Dance Academy, located outside of Philadelphia in Chalfont, PA. An artistic focused dance studio, Freestyle Dance Academy looks to fuel the passion for young dancers of all ages. The studio ensures balanced programming, which allows Freestyle Dance Academy to be a home for both the recreational & serious dancer.

Tony has overseen the creation of Freestyle Dance Academy, and strives to ensure that it is a pillar of education & positivity in the Doylestown community.
